Back to the Fold

After an absence of more than three months, I have returned to the blogosphere.

Coming soon, we'll deal with the topics of the economy --- you don't think others will mind me doing that, do you?

I was working a lot recently. After long consideration, it was time to work just a bit less. Sure, the economy sucks. But so does working so much that you don't allow your body to heal properly.

I don't know about you, but it's nice to take a breather once a day. You know, have an actual "break" in the action for 20 or 30 minutes. I used to schedule that when I worked all week and weekend and had 12 to 13 hour days on a regular basis. More recently, I was working every day, but was limiting my daily hours. Now, after considering all my options, I am FURTHER limiting my daily hours worked. I need more breaks, and working 10 hour days - and the occasional 18 hour day - has to be SEVERELY limited to twice a week in order that I stay healthy. And now that I've done those lengthy days back to back a few times, I will also limit those to every OTHER day so I can rest between the aggrivatingly long ones.

Greetings to my friends in the Carondelet neighborhood. See you soon in the CWP!
